EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Graduate student
Desmond Polk (Milwaukee, Wis.) from the men's basketball team has received Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors after his performance against North Florida.
Polk led the Cougars with a career-high 19 points against North Florida. He knocked down a corner three at the halftime buzzer to put SIUE up 44-42. Polk led the charge for SIUE, shooting 8-15 from the field.
