EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE tennis sophomore Amelia Gorman (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) has earned Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week honors following her performance against Bradley on Saturday at the Edwardsville Y Meyer Center.
Gorman picked up a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Bradley's Maria Pukhina at No. 4 singles. Alongside freshman Stefaniya Anikina, the duo downed Maria Bezmenova and Pukhina at No. 2 doubles, 6-4.
SIUE tennis returns to action on the road at Milwaukee on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 1:00 p.m.
The Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week honors an SIUE student-athlete who demonstrated excellence in competition.
