PERFECT START
SIUE is 3-0 in dual matches to start the 2024 season with wins over Illinois-Springfield, Valparaiso and Bradley.

BUSY WEEKEND
SIUE women's tennis has matches on back-to-back days for the first time this season. Both are on the road with a dual match at Milwaukee followed by a neutral site meeting against St. Thomas. Milwaukee has a match today (Friday) against Ohio Valley Conference rival Eastern Illinois.

SERIES 
This the second all-time meeting between SIUE and Milwaukee. The Cougars took the only other match 5-2 in Edwardsville during the 2022 season. SIUE is 2-0 against St. Thomas all-time, including a 4-3 victory last season in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

COUGAR OF THE WEEK
SIUE women's tennis sophomore Amelia Gorman (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) has earned Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week honors following her performance against Bradley on Saturday at the Edwardsville Y Meyer Center. Gorman leads SIUE with 12 singles wins and 11 doubles wins this season.

SINGLES WINS
Lambrechts passed Lexi Aranda (2013-17) for the second-most singles wins in the Division I era with 71. The SIUE leader in the Division I era is Mia Frogner (2013-17) with 76. Jordan Schifano has 63 career singles wins.

DOUBLES PRIORITY
SIUE is 7-0 in doubles matches during dual matches this season and has secured the doubles point in each of the first three events of the season.

YEAR SIX
Adam Albertsen is in his sixth season as the head coach of the Cougars. SIUE has increased its win total in each of the previous five years. Last season, the Cougars completed play with a 17-5 dual meet record.
