EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The final regular season dual match for the SIUE wrestling tean is set for Friday in DeKalb, Illinois.

The Cougars, 6-5 overall and 3-3 in the Mid-American Conference, faces Northern Illinois, 12-2 overall and 6-1 in the MAC. The first whistle is set for 7 p.m.

The dual is the final meeting of MAC wrestlers before the 2024 MAC Championships in Kent, Ohio, which is set for March 8-9.

SIUE features two wrestlers ranked in the second coaches rankings. Marcel Lopez is listed 33rd at 133 pounds, and Caleb Tyus is ranked 22nd at 149 pounds. The final rankings release will be Feb. 29 when the NCAA announced the conference allocations for the upcoming NCAA Championships.
