ST. CHARLES, Mo. – SIUE freshmen golfers Preston Bily and Max Bruening each competed as individuals in this week's Lindenwood Invitational played at the Missouri Bluffs.
Bily shot rounds of 72-73-74 to finish at 219 (+6) to tie for 23rd place. Bruening carded rounds of 70-73-80 and finished at 223 to tie for 38th place. His 70 in the first round is the lowest of his career.
Illinois-Springfield's Alex Seibal shot a 205 (-8) to win Individual Medalist honors.
The Cougars are back in action Monday as they take part in Missouri State's Twin Oaks Intercollegiate in Springfield, Missouri.
