SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Three SIUE golfers finished among the top 25 and SIUE tied for sixth at Missouri State's Twin Oaks Intercollegiate completed Tuesday at Twin Oaks Country Club.
The Cougars carded a 282 in the final round and finished at 853 (+1). Oral Roberts (-18) won the team competition. Wichita State (-11) and Missouri State (-6) finished second and third, respectively.
Luke Ludwig finished with back-to-back rounds of 70, finishing at 212 (-1) to tie for 17th. Brady Kaufmann and TJ Baker both finished among a group tied for 25th at 215 (+2). Alex Eickhoff tied for 35th at 216. Anthony Ruthey tied for 43rd at 218.
The Cougars had three individuals in the field. Brent Reintjes tied for 35th at 216. Max Bruening and Preston Bily each finished at 225 to tie for 63rd.
The Cougars will play next at the Carpenter/Chaney Classic Match Play event April 1-2.
