ROAD TEST
SIUE travels to Columbia, Missouri, for a 5 p.m. mid-week contest at Missouri. This is the eighth meeting between the Cougars and the Tigers. SIUE is 1-6 all-time against Missouri. The only win in the series came in 2009 with a 2-0 victory in Columbia.
LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars dropped a three-game series at Tennessee State, including two games by one run. SIUE is now 3-10 this season in one-run games.
LONGEST HITTING STREAK
Paige Rocha broke the school record for consecutive games with a hit at 29 games, which also stands as the longest such streak among Division I players this season. The streak ended in game two of a doubleheader against Western Illinois. Rocha broke the previous record of 27 set by Erin Newman in 2001. Rocha has now hit in 32 of her last 33 games.
NO. 2 NATIONALLY
Rocha is No. 2 in the country in hits (65), doubles (19) and doubles per game (0.48). She leads the Ohio Valley Conference in batting average (.455), on-base percentage (.494), slugging percentage (.657) and total bases (94). All of this has happened with her in the leadoff spot in the lineup.

LEAGUE RANKINGS
SIUE is second in the OVC in strikeout-to-walk ratio at 2.03. The SIUE offense is third in the OVC with a .283 team batting average.
AMONG THE LEAGUE LEADERS
Jenna Herron, who mostly has been the No. 2 batter in the lineup for the Cougars, is fourth in the OVC in doubles (11) and third in sacrifice bunts per game (0.23).

Rylie Pindel is second in the OVC in saves with three and pitching appearances with 25.
WALK THIS WAY
Kelsey Ray is sixth in the OVC in walks allowed per seven innings (1.82). She also leads the team in innings pitched (92.1).
YEAR TWO
Lone Tree, Iowa, native Ben Sorden is in his second season as head coach of the Cougars. Sorden came to SIUE after holding positions at Michigan State and Indiana, helping the pitching staffs to national honors and top-notch results.
