Paige Rocha broke the school record for consecutive games with a hit at 29 games, which also stands as the longest such streak among Division I players this season. The streak ended in game two of a doubleheader against Western Illinois. Rocha broke the previous record of 27 set by Erin Newman in 2001. Rocha has now hit in 32 of her last 33 games.

Rocha is No. 2 in the country in doubles per game (0.46) and is No. 3 nationally in hits (65) and doubles (19). She leads the Ohio Valley Conference in batting average (.445) and total bases (94). All of this has happened with her in the leadoff spot in the lineup.

SIUE is second in the OVC in strikeout-to-walk ratio at 2.04. The SIUE offense is fourth in the OVC with a .56 doubles. SIUE's top national ranking as a team is 74th (4th in the OVC) in hit batters (16).
AMONG THE LEAGUE LEADERS
Jenna Herron, who mostly has been the No. 2 batter in the lineup for the Cougars, is fourth in the OVC in doubles (11) and third in sacrifice bunts per game (0.22).
