SIUE defeated Valparaiso 4-1 at Valparaiso, Indiana.  After capturing the doubles point, the Cougars collected singles wins from Amelia Gorman (No. 1), Chloe Koons (No. 5) and Stefaniya Anikina (No. 6).

COUGAR LEADERS

• Gorman, Koons and Payton Tomichek each pace the team with nine singles wins on the year.
• Koons remains undefeated in doubles play with an 8-0 record, including a 7-0 mark with Tomichek. The duo of Cydney Rogers and Gorman carry an overall doubles record of 7-3 into the weekend and are 2-0 in No. 1 doubles dual matches.
