EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Grad student Ray'Sean Taylor (Collinsville, Ill.) from the men's basketball team has received Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors after his performances over the last week.  
 
Taylor helped the Cougars gain their third straight victory in OVC play. He put up 19 points against Eastern Illinois, scoring 17 of these points in the second half alone.
 
Taylor also helped his team take the win over Lindenwood and Western Illinois over the weekend. He put up 18 points and eight rebounds against Lindenwood.
 
Against Western Illinois, Taylor became SIUE's career leading scorer in Division one History. He now has 1,595 career points and led the Cougars in scoring 23 points along with four rebounds and two assists against WIU.
 
The Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors an SIUE student-athlete who demonstrated excellence in competition.
