EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Senior
Christy Muldrew (Indian River, Mich.) from women's cross country has received Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors after her performance at the the Ohio Valley Conference Championships.
Muldrew placed third overall in the women's 6k and set a new program record, surpassing her previous record, with a time of 21:11.42.
This third-place finish is the highest an individual runner has placed in the OVC championships for SIUE women's Cross Country. The last highest finish was in 2021 when Kassidy Dexheimer placed 11th.
The Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors an SIUE student-athlete who demonstrated excellence in competition.
