EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – After a strong finish at the Cougar Clash, SIUE wrestling heads to Oklahoma for the four-team Norman Duals Sunday.

SIUE (3-0) is scheduled to face Duke (5-4) at 10 a.m., host Oklahoma (4-1) at 12 p.m. and Tarleton State (0-0) at 2 p.m.

Eleven SIUE wrestlers finished in the top eight at the Cougar Clash, which was held Dec. 7 at First Community Arena. That included now two-time champion Caleb Tyus at 149 pounds. Tyus, the No. 1-ranked wrestler at 149 pounds in the Mid-American Conference, is ranked in the top 10 nationally by several national wrestling publications.

The Cougars will travel with 16 wrestlers for the three-match event. Live stats are available on siuecougars.com, and the Oklahoma match will be streamed live by ESPN+.
