BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – SIUE freshman Lauren Miller has received Ohio Valley Conference women's basketball freshman of the week honors for the third time this season.
 
Miller posted 21 points in her second conference game with SIUE against Western Illinois. This game marked her fourth game of this season as the team's scoring leader and her third game with 20 or more points.
 
She went 7-for-12 from the field and made 7-8 of her shots from the line, while contributing five rebounds, and one steal.
 
The Cougars take on Southern Indiana Jan. 1 at 1pm in First Community Arena.
