EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. –Redshirt Junior Marcel Lopez (New London, Iowa.) from men's wrestling has received Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors after his performance at the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships (Dec. 30).
 
Lopez placed fifth at 133 pounds, leading the way with 11 team points. His fifth-place victory was a result of a win over Oregon State's Gabe Whisenhunt 3-1.
