• SIUE hold the second-best record (percentage-wise) in the Ohio Valley Conference.
• The Cougars lead the OVC in home runs (11 - 72nd nationally) and home runs per game (1.00 - 43rd nationally).
•  Emma Henderson and Lauryn Yslava are tied for the OVC lead in home runs (3)
•  Avery Arwood is fourth in the OVC in innings pitched (30.0)
• Yslava has been the leadoff hitter in all but the first game of the season. She leads the OVC and is ranked 79th nationally in runs scored per game (1.09).
• SIUE leads the OVC in several statistical categories, including double plays (6), double plays per game (0.55), hit batters (2), slugging percentage (.434) and total sacrifice flies (4).
• This is SIUE's first meeting vs. Furman. SIUE and UAB are 1-1 in the overall series. SIUE won a 2018 game in Troy, Alabama, and lost a 2013 game in Woodstock, Georgia. SIUE is 0-4 all-time against Alabama, including the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2014.
