LAST MATCH RESULT
SIUE defeated St. Thomas (Minn.) 4-2 and Northern Iowa 4-1 on the road last weekend. SIUE has now won five straight matches.

OVC WEEKLY HONORS PART ONE
Amelia Gorman, a junior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was named the Ohio Valley Conference Singles Player of the Week. Gorman collected her 12th and 13th singles wins, defeating St. Thomas' Caroline Lindahl 7-5, 6-3 and Northern Iowa's Darta Dalecka 6-2, 6-2.

OVC WEEKLY HONORS PART TWO
Gorman joined Rogers, a junior from Jonesboro, Arkansas, as the co-Doubles Team of the Week. The duo shared the weekly honor with Bryant's Natalia Vela and Caitlyn Brunson. As a doubles team, Gorman and Rogers were selected for weekly honors for the fourth time. The duo defeated St. Thomas' Regina Talavera and Anna Sidorenko 6-2 as well as Northern Iowa's Darta Dalecka and Lorena Cardoso 6-4.

LAST MEETING VS. SAINT LOUIS
SIUE is 4-9 all-time against the Billikens. The Cougars have won the last three meetings in 2020, 2021 and 2023. SIUE also has won four of the last five meetings.

LAST MEETING VS. WILLIAM WOODS
SIUE is 3-0 all-time against Williams Woods having won matches in each of the last three seasons.

COUGAR LEADERS
  • Gorman leads the Cougars with 13 singles wins this season. She needs one more win to pass Monique Krutak (2012-16) for No. 5 on the Division I era singles list. Krutak has 62 career singles wins.
  • Stefaniya Anikina is 5-0 in singles matches this season, and she is 16-1 in her collegiate career.
