OVC WEEKLY HONORS
Margaux Guibal Britt and Stefaniya Anikina were honored as the Ohio Valley Conference Doubles Team of the Week. Guibal Britt and Anikina earned two wins last week playing at No. 2 doubles. The duo opened with a 6-3 win against Saint Louis' Madison Hill and Aryn Walker. The pair added as doubles win over William Woods' Kristina Dimitrijevic and Sophia Hausner 6-2. It was the second honor for Anikina this season and the first for Guibal Britt.

LAST MEETING VS. ILLINOIS STATE
SIUE holds a 3-2 edge in the all-time series against the Redbirds. The Cougars won the first three meetings in 2016, 2017 and 2020. Illinois State has won the last two meetings in 2021 and 2024.

COUGAR LEADERS
Gorman leads the Cougars with 14 singles wins this season. She passed Monique Krutak (2012-16) for No. 5 on the Division I era singles list. Krutak has 62 career singles wins.

Chloe Koons is second in singles wins with 13 followed by 12 from Payton Tomichek and 10 from Paige Duncan.

Stefaniya Anikina is 6-0 in singles matches this season, and she is 17-1 in her collegiate career.
