LAST MEETING VS. EASTERN ILLINOIS
SIUE has won the last four meetings against the Panthers, including last season's 6-1 victory in Edwardsville. SIUE leads the series 9-8.

OVC HONORS
Amelia Gorman and Stefaniya Anikina were honored for last week's action against Southeast Missouri and Tennessee State. Gorman, the No. 1 singles player for the Cougars, was tabbed the co-OVC Player of the Week. Gorman and Anikina also were selected as the OVC Doubles Team of the Week. It was Gorman's sixth OVC Player of the Week pick. This also is Gorman's eighth doubles honor of the season and Anikina's sixth. This marks the fourth time this season they have earned the honor together and the third time in a row.

COUGAR LEADERS

• Gorman leads the Cougars with a 21-4 record in No. 1 singles. She passed Monique Krutak (2012-16) for No. 5 on the Division I era singles list. Gorman is 5-0 in OVC singles matches
• SIUE is 98-41 in singles matches this season, including a 59-25 mark in dual matches.
• Payton Tomichek is second in wins as a Cougar this season with 18 singles victories.
• Anikina is 12-0 in singles matches and has played at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 this season. She also is 14-0 in doubles matches, having competed this season with Gorman and Margaux Guibal Britt.
• The Cougars are 49-18 in doubles matches (.731 winning percentage). That includes a 32-11 doubles record in dual matches (.744 winning percentage).

SIUE begins play in the Ohio Valley Conference Championships (April 17-19) at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis. The brackets will be released after all of the OVC regular season matches have concluded.
