BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - The Ohio Valley Conference announced its men's and women's basketball conference schedules for the 2025-26 season on Thursday.
For the third-straight year the league membership includes 11 teams (Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood, Little Rock, Morehead State, Southeast Missouri, SIUE, Southern Indiana, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin and Western Illinois).
This year the OVC schedules once again feature a true round-robin slate of 20 games.
Each team will play two games prior to Christmas; the schedule picks back up on December 30 and continues until Saturday, February 28.
The 2026 OVC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament is slated for March 4-7 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. It marks the ninth year in a row the event will be held at the venue.
All Conference games and home non-conference contests can be seen on ESPN networks with the majority of games broadcast on ESPN+. Additional contests to appear on ESPNU and ESPN2 will be announced at a later date.
Start times also will be confirmed at a later date.
All dates are subject to change.
The Cougars will start the Ohio Valley Conference season on the road with Eastern Illinois (Dec. 18) and Western Illinois (Dec. 22). The team hits the road again for UT Martin (Jan. 15) and Southeast Missouri (Jan. 17). Week six ignites a road stint for the Cougars with Morehead State (Jan. 29), Southern Indiana (Jan. 31), Lindenwood (Feb. 3) and Little Rock (Feb. 7). The Cougars face off against Tennessee Tech (Feb. 19) and Tennessee State (Feb. 21).
The Cougars will ring in the new year at First Community Arena against Southern Indiana (Jan. 1) and Morehead State (Jan. 3). They will remain at home for week three taking on Lindenwood (Jan. 6) and Little Rock (Jan. 8). SIUE will take on Tennessee State (Jan. 22) and Tennessee Tech (Jan. 24) at home. After some time on the road the Cougars return home for their second matchup with Southeast Missouri (Feb. 12) and UT Martin (Feb. 14). They will wrap up regular season games at First Community Arena with Western Illinois (Feb. 26) and Eastern Illinois (Feb. 28).
