HOME COOKING: The Cougars play three of the next four matches at home. SIUE has successfully defended its home turf in recent seasons. Including the opening night loss, the Cougars are 17-2-2 at Korte Stadium since the start of the 2023 season.

Evan Howard scored in each of SIUE's games in Colorado and was named as the OVC Player of the Week 9/2.
RANK AND FILE: SIUE has faced two ranked opponents so far this season, dropping 2-1 games on the road at No. 21 Denver and No. 16 Saint Louis.
THE SERIES: Tonight marks the 14th meeting in a series which dates to 1992. From 2013-2016, the Cougars and Ramblers were both members of the Missouri Valley Conference and played seven times as Conference foes. Loyola won four of those meetings. The only postseason meeting between the two came in the 2015 Missouri Valley Tournament. That game ended in a 0-0 tie with SIUE advancing on penalty kicks at Korte Stadium.
