MEMPHIS, Tenn. – SIUE golf wrapped up play with a fifth-place finish at UT Martin's Grover Page Classic, completed Tuesday at the Links at Audubon.
The Cougars finished 837 to tie with Bellarmine. Both finished just four strokes shy of the top three. Central Arkansas won the team title with an 814. UT Martin was second at 828. Tennessee Tech came in third at 833.
Brady Kaufmann also finished fifth individually for SIUE. With rounds of 67-69-69 he finished eight-under. Will Simpson and Preston Bily each finished under par. Simpson shot a 211 (-2) to tie for 26th. Bily finished at 212 (-1) to tie for 32nd. Tomas Rascon was one-over at 214. He tied for 45th. Reintjes was six-over to tie for 70th.
Parker Bruening, playing as an individual, tied for 59th at 217 (+4). Hayden Moore was 94th at 231.
Tennessee Tech's Haden Maxwell took home Individual Medalist honors with a 202 (-11).
The Cougars are next in action at home. They'll play host to the Dolenc Invitational Sep. 29-30 at Gateway National Golf Links.
