THIS WEEK: The Cougars play just their second two-game week of the season with Kansas City at home Wednesday and Omaha on the road Sunday.
HOME COOKING: The Cougars play two of the next three matches at home. SIUE has successfully defended its home turf in recent seasons. Including two losses this season, the Cougars are 17-3-2 at Korte Stadium since the start of the 2023 season.

Evan Howard scored in each of SIUE's games in Colorado and was named as the OVC Player of the Week 9/2.
RANK AND FILE: SIUE has faced two ranked opponents so far this season, dropping 2-1 games on the road at No. 21 Denver and No. 16 Saint Louis.
THE SERIES: Tonight marks the13th meeting between SIUE and Kansas City in men's soccer and the eighth since both schools moved to NCAA Division I status. SIUE leads 6-5-1 in the series overall and 4-3-1 at the Division I level. All of SIUE's wins have been one-goal wins. This is the first meeing in Edwardsville since 2021.

Returners account for just 18 percent (15 of 85) of total points scored in 2024.
