LAST TIME: SIUE fell 2-0 to Kansas City Wednesday night at Korte Stadium. It was the first time this year the Cougars have been shutout.
THIS WEEK: The Cougars finish their second two-game week of the season with Omaha on the road Sunday. It is the final nonconference game of the season for SIUE.
ROAD WARRIORS: SIUE plays four of its next six games on the road. The Cougars have combined for 9 road wins since the start of the 2023 season.

Evan Howard was named as the OVC Player of the Week 9/2 after he scored in each of SIUE's games in Colorado.
RANK AND FILE: SIUE has faced two ranked opponents so far this season, dropping 2-1 games on the road at No. 21 Denver and No. 16 Saint Louis.
THE SERIES: Tonight marks the fifth meeting between SIUE and Omaha in men's soccer, all of which have come since Omaha made the transition from Division II to Division I. Only one of those games have been played in Omaha, in 2013, which resulted in a 1-0 win for SIUE. The Mavericks won last year's meeting, 1-0 in Edwardsville. It was SIUE's only loss at home in 2024.

Cale Wassermann is in his seventh season in charge of the Cougars, and his 12th overall as a head coach. He has a record of 53-40-14 (.561) in six full seasons at SIUE. He is third all-time in wins at SIUE.
