SPRING OPENER
SIUE (playing as the 66ers Saturday) open the 2026 spring season on the road. The Cougars are playing the Prairie Stars for the fourth consecutive season and are 7-1 all-time against UIS.

SUNDAY'S ROAD MATCHUP
SIUE and Valparaiso are meeting for the seventh consecutive season, and SIUE is 6-1 in those matchups including a 4-1 home victory last season. Valparaiso heads into the spring season 4-0.

COUGAR LEADERS
Margaux Guibal Britt and Stefaniya Anikina made a strong showing during the fall season at the 2025 ITA Conference Masters Championships. The duo qualified for the prestigious tournament in San Diego by winning the doubles tournament at the Ohio Valley Conference Fall Championships.

Anikina, Paloma Hennicaux and Elena Palioura lead the team in singles wins heading into the spring with seven.

HEAD COACH ADAM ALBERTSEN
Albertsen enters his eighth season at the helm of SIUE women's tennis. He holds a record of 90-44 at SIUE. He has recorded double-digit dual victories in each of the last five seasons.

The Cougars meet Bowling Green in a neutral site match on Jan. 25. The match will be played at the West Indy Racquet Club in Indianapolis, Indiana.
