EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - SIUE cruised to a 31-3 victory in Mid-American Conference wrestling Saturday at First Community Arena.
Bryson Buhk closed out the match for the Cougars with a technical fall at heavyweight over Kent State's Corey Boerio.
SIUE, now 9-1 overall and 3-0 in the MAC, lead the MAC West Division after winning eight consecutive matches against the Golden Flashes. Kent State fell to 5-6 overall and 1-4 in the MAC.
Caleb Tyus (149) and
Deron Pulliam (184) also picked up bonus points for the Cougars.
