EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The tallest Cougars set the tone this week on the hardwood, as Kyle Thomas and Arnas Sakenis of men's basketball and Syanne Mohamed of women's basketball powered SIUE to an undefeated stretch.
 

In a win over TSU, forward Kyle Thomas delivered a career-high 20 points. Fellow big man Arnas Sakenis tied a career high with five blocks against TSU and then followed with a dominant performance against TTU, recording a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. On the women's side, Syanne Mohamed controlled the glass against TTU, posting 15 points and a career-best 15 rebounds.
