ROAD WARRIORS
SIUE is 2-1 this season in road matches as it heads to Marquette and Chicago State, respectively. This is the first-ever meeting between SIUE and Marquette. SIUE is 9-1 all-time against Chicago State and have been victorious in each of the last eight meetings.
SINGLES PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Margaux Guibal Britt was named the Ohio Valley Conference Singles Player of the Week after wins over Bradley and Maryville. The senior from Rossville, Tennessee, picked up a win at No. 2 singles and one at No. 1. She provided a crucial point in the Cougars' 4-3 win over Bradley with a 6-1, 7-5 decision at No. 2 singles over Ruby Tseng. The senior followed up with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 1 against Maryville's Isabella Alvarez.
COUGAR LEADERS
-- SIUE holds the best record in the OVC at 5-1.
-- Paloma Hennicaux leads the team in singles wins with 11. She is 1-0 at No. 3 singles and 2-0 at No. 4 singles.
-- Guibal Britt and Stefaniya Anikina are 10-5 in doubles matches this season.
HEAD COACH ADAM ALBERTSEN
Albertsen enters his eighth season at the helm of SIUE women's tennis. He holds a record of 95-45 at SIUE. He has recorded double-digit dual victories in each of the last five seasons.
