ON THE ROAD
This is SIUE's fifth all-time matchup against Missouri. The last time these two programs met was in 2016. SIUE is 1-3 all-time against the Tigers.
MIZZOU
SIUE is part of a doubleheader for Missouri on Saturday. The Tigers begin their day with a 10:30 a.m. match against Saint Louis with the Cougars following later in the day.
GOOD START
SIUE is off to a 3-0 start to the spring season with wins over Illinois-Springfield, Valparaiso and Northern Iowa.
COUGAR LEADERS
-- Chloe Koons leads the Cougars in singles wins during the spring and is 3-0 in her No. 5 singles matches.
-- SIUE is 11-1 in dual singles matches. Also undefeated in dual singles matches this spring are Margaux Guibal Britt at No. 1 singles, Elena Palioura in No. 2 singles matches, Jessica Li in No. 3 singles matches and Paloma Hennicaux in No. 4 singles matches.
-- The Cougars also are 7-0 in spring season doubles matches.
HEAD COACH ADAM ALBERTSEN
Albertsen enters his eighth season at the helm of SIUE women's tennis. He holds a record of 93-44 at SIUE. He has recorded double-digit dual victories in each of the last five seasons.
NEXT UP
The Cougars are at home for their next two matches against Bradley (Feb. 13) and Maryville (Feb. 15). Both matches are slated to be played at the Edwardsville Y Meyer Center.
