LAST TIME OUT
SIUE recorded its second Ohio Valley Conference victory this past Sunday in a 6-1 victory at Southeast Missouri. It marked the 100th victory at SIUE for Head Coach Adam Albertsen.
EYE ON THE OVC
The OVC Tournament, to be held at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, is less than one month away. The Tournament, scheduled for April 17 through April 19, features all seven schools in a bracket with the No. 1 seed receiving a bye into the semifinals.
HOME MATCHES
This is the final nonconference match of the season for the Cougars. SIUE recorded its sixth consecutive season of 10 or more dual match victories in the win over SEMO. Over the last six seasons, SIUE holds an 85-30 overall record.
COMING UP NEXT
The Cougars' only midweek OVC match is coming up Wednesday at Lindenwood. The first serve is set for 2 p.m. in St. Charles, Missouri.
COUGAR LEADERS
-- SIUE is 91-49 in singles matches this season, a .650 winning percentage.
-- Paloma Hennicaux recorded her 50th career singles win during SIUE's victory at SEMO. That includes her time at UTEP.
-- Margaux Guibal Britt and Stefaniya Anikina lead the doubles teams with 14 victories this season.
HEAD COACH ADAM ALBERTSEN
Albertsen enters his eighth season at the helm of SIUE women's tennis. He holds a record of 100-46 at SIUE. He has recorded double-digit dual victories in each of the last five seasons.
