BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The SIUE women's tennis doubles team of Margaux Guibal Britt and Stefaniya Anikina have been selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Doubles Team of the Week.

The duo was instrumental in SIUE's 5-2 victory over Western Illinois that completed a perfect OVC regular season and garnered a No. 1 seed for the Cougars at this week's OVC Championships in St. Louis.

Guibal Britt and Anikina defeated Western Illinois' Mana Fawcett and Jessica Hess 6-2 in No. 1 doubles.

SIUE's next match is in the OVC Championships semifinals on Saturday. The Cougars will match up against the winner of fourth-seeded Lindenwood or fifth-seeded Western Illinois, which will be played at 9 a.m. Friday. Saturday's match time for the Cougars is 10 a.m.
