EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Senior
Cydney Rogers (Jonesboro, Ark.) from women's tennis has received Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors after her performances against Western Illinois (April 11).
The senior got the doubles point for the Cougars, and was SIUE's first winner in singles, defeating Nadezhsa 6-3,6-0 at No. 6 singles. Rogers got the ball rolling for SIUE early, leading them to the win over Western, making them the No. 1 seed for the OVC Championships.
The Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors an SIUE student-athlete who demonstrated excellence in competition.
