"We are excited to welcome Paige Magee to the SIUE Athletics Student-Athlete Success team as an Athletic Academic Advisor," DeClue said. "Paige brings a strong passion for student-athlete development and academic success, and I am confident she will be a tremendous resource and advocate for our student-athletes. We look forward to the experience, energy and perspective she will bring to our department and to the continued success of our Cougars.

"I'm grateful to Andrew Gavin, Jaci DeClue and Ashley Beaton-Simpson for allowing me the opportunity to join a team that's committed to investing in student-athletes academic success. Ashley and Jaci have a deep knowledge and a strong vision for SIUE, and I look forward to learning from them and draw upon my own experiences to create impact within the department."
