TIME CHANGE: Wednesday's game time has been pushed back to 7 p.m. to avoid extremem heat.

LAST TIME: SIUE suffered a heart-breaking defeat to Loyola last Thursday, conceding a goal in the 89th minute after a giveaway. 

ROUTE 66: SIUE will play as the 66ers for the first time tonight. SIUE's alternate identity is a nod to the 100th anniversary of historic Route 66.

HOME COOKING: Wednesday's home contest with Bradley marks the first of a four-game home stand. Since the start of the 2023 season, SIUE is 21-6-2 at Korte Stadium. 

RANK AND FILE: SIUE faced a pair of ranked opponent to start the season. The Cougars dropped a Thursday contest to 24th-ranked Michigan State. SIUE opened the season against No. 25 Kansas City. SLU had been ranked among the top 10 for the first two weeks this season. 

THE SERIES: The all-time series with Bradley dates to 1989. SIUE has the advantage in the all-time series 12-9-3. The Cougars have won two of the last three meetings, with one tie. The Cougars and Braves were conference mates in the Missouri Valley from 2010-16 and again 2021-22. SIUE held a 6-4-1 advantage in MVC games.
