EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE men's basketball Head Coach Brian Barone has announced his full nonconference schedule for the 2026-27 season.

The schedule, which includes nine home games at First Community Arena, opens with an exhibition against Arkansas State (Oct. 24). The regular season opens at home with back-to-back contests with Eureka (Nov. 2) and Concordia-Chicago (Nov. 4). The Cougars also will play November home games against North Park (Nov. 19), Northern Illinois (Nov. 25) and UTSA (Nov. 29).

SIUE will play host to three December games ahead of Ohio Valley Conference play including Denver (Dec. 5), North Dakota (Dec. 9) and Missouri Baptist (Dec. 13).

The challenging road slate featuring several high major opponents, opens with a four-game stretch that begins at Lipscomb (Nov. 7). The Cougars will then travel to Missouri (Nov. 9) and then for a first-ever meeting with Duke (Nov. 13) before finishing at North Dakota (Nov. 16).

Three road games in December include at Indiana State (Dec. 2), at Valparaiso (Dec. 18) and at Kansas City (Dec. 21).

The nonconference schedule is in addition to the previously announced OVC schedule.
