2014: Earned second team All-MVC honors...Named to MVC All-Tournament team...Started 19 games...Played every minute in goal until suffering injury prior to the NCAA Tournament...Won seven games, and collected five shutouts...Finished with a 1.17 goals against average, which was fourth in the MVC...Recorded 54 saves for the season...Made a career-best eight saves against Tulsa 8/31...Made seven saves in the MVC tournament final against Missouri State 11/16...Spent time with Saint Louis FC (USL) following the season.

2013: Filled in for starting GK John Berner in the latter stages of SIUE’s final game of the season against Missouri State (11/15)…Did not compete otherwise.

2012: Started six games for the Cougars ... Made 17 saves while posting a .773 save percentage ... Allowed only five goals and put up a 0.82 goals against average ... The Cougars were 3-3 in games Kobernus started ... Made a season-high four saves against UIC on 9/26 ... Filled in for the injured John Berner midway through the season.

2010: Attended the University of Wisconsin in the fall before transferring to SIUE in the spring.

Prep: Three-time All-Area and three-time All-Conference selection as a goalkeeper at Belleville West High School ... Two-time All-sectional and team Most Valuable Player ... Named All-Area as a senior by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch ... Holds Belleville West career records for shutouts (29.5) and goals against average (0.77) ... Set Belleville West single-season marks for shutouts (11) and goals against average (0.70) ... Played two seasons as placekicker for football team ...
