His mother, Stephanie, was a standout softball player for the Cougars from 1987 to 1990 ... Born in St. Louis, he calls Harare, Zimbabwe, his hometown where he was the soccer Most Valuable Player in 2011 and 2012 for Harare International School ... The school’s Male Athlete of the Year as a senior, Jambga also holds the school record for the mile run ... He also was twice named an All-Star by the International Schools of Southern and Eastern Africa.
