SIUE Women's Soccer is dancing to the NCAA Championship for the second consecutive year. Just nine months ago, the Cougars hoisted the Ohio Valley Conference Championship trophy for the first time since 2016 and following an overtime thriller against UT-Martin in this year's final, SIUE is back-to-back OVC champions.
Your Cougars will face off against third-seeded Notre Dame on Sunday, November 14, in the First Round of the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship. The last time the Cougars and Fighting Irish faced off was in the First Round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament, when the Red & White battled then-No. 11 Notre Dame to a scoreless draw before earning a 5-4 penalty kick victory to claim SIUE's first NCAA Tournament win in the Division I era.
To celebrate your Cougars punching a ticket to the NCAA Championship for the second consecutive year, please consider making a gift to the women's soccer Victory SIUE campaign. Your contributions are proving to be difference-making, and we appreciate your willingness to consider these student-athletes in your philanthropic endeavors.
Standing on the shoulders of those who have taken to the pitch for the Cougars or been in the stands encouraging our program, we greatly appreciate the support given to our Cougars as it is vital to our success, both academically and competitively. From operational needs to player development, every facet of our fundraising efforts goes towards enhancing the program and serving our student-athletes for growth during their time at SIUE and beyond that matriculation.
