We are committed to building a diverse culture that is inclusive of people of all races, genders, orientations, ages, religions, and identities. We will empower our student-athletes, coaches, and staff to stand up against injustice and hate to shape a changing world.
 
Objectives
The SIUE Athletics Cougars as One DEI Action Plan will serve as a complement to the University’s Anti-Racism Task Force. This comprehensive resource provides a road map for all constituents on how SIUE Athletics will foster a diverse and inclusive environment. The goal of the Action Plan is to design a sustainable rather than fleeting, measurable guide to hold ourselves accountable and adaptable to ever-changing needs and issues.
