2023: Ohio Valley Conference All-Freshman selection…Named to the Brooks Wallace Award watch list for the nation’s best collegiate shortstop, one of only 10 freshman in the country to make it to the list…Sixth on the team in hitting with a .275 batting average…added 10 doubles, a home run and 17 RBIs… Hit safely in his first four games as a Cougar…Hit safely in a season-high eight consecutive games March 28-April 8…Enjoyed a career-best three-hit day April 1 against UT Martin…First career home run came May 5 at Tennessee Tech…Appeared in 43 games, making 41 starts at short.
Prior to SIUE: Helped lead Ottawa (Kansas) High School to a fourth-place finish at state tournament…First Team All-Conference selection…Hit .389 for the Lawrence Travelers of the Mid-Plains League, while leading the league in doubles with nine.
