Adamo Stornello

Adamo Stornello joined the SIUE coaching staff in August 2025.

Stornello came to the Cougars after a year coaching at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri, where he worked with catchers, assisted in the development of hitters and coached third base. With Stornello on staff, the Roughriders finished 39-22.

At SIUE, Stornello also will work primarily with the Cougar catchers while assisting in all aspects of the program.

The native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, began his playing career at Crowder College, where he was a consistent contributor for two seasons and helped the team to two NJCAA D1 World Series appearances. After Crowder, Stornello transferred to Central Missouri. He hit .328 with an OPS of .807 over 48 games in two seasons with the Mules. He amassed a .994 fielding percentage behind the plate, committing just two errors over two seasons. He helped the team to an NCAA Division II World Series appearances in 2024.

Stornello earned a bachelor's degree from Central Missouri in 2024.
