Anthony Lupa joins the SIUE baseball staff for the 2024-2025 Season, primarily assisting with the pitching staff and data analytics. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs with a specialization in athletics at SIUE.
Before his time at SIUE, Anthony spent his previous year at MASH Baseball with locations in Savage and St. Cloud, Minnesota, where he led offseason pitching programs designed for youth and high school athletes. In addition to his work in development, he also coached MASH’s national teams, helping players refine their skills and compete at a high level.
At the University of Minnesota Crookston, Anthony spent four years as a left-handed pitcher but transitioned intto a coaching role for his fifth for his During this tenure, he coached three All-Americans, four All-Region players, six All-Conference players, and the NCBWA National Player of the Year. His commitment to both athletic and academic excellence was recognized through multiple academic honors, including placements on the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists and selection to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) All-Academic Team of Excellence.
Originally from Brule, Wisconsin, Anthony earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Minnesota Crookston.
