HALL OF FAME

Rick Benben was a major reason for SIUE establishing a tradition of excellence for men's soccer. He is one of the links between SIUE's two national titles. Benben was the starting goalkeeper on the 1972 NCAA Division II national championship team and was the assistant coach for Bob Guelker on the 1979 NCAA Division I national championship team.
