Biography

Regarded as one of the top defenders on one of SIUE's best men's soccer teams, Vince Fassi was a second team All-American in 1972 as a back. SIUE was 40-6-5 under Coach Bob Guelker while Fassi was a Cougar. As a defender, he scored one goal and added two assists. Fassi played on the 1972 national championship, which also went undefeated. Fassi would later earn a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University.<br>
