2024: All-Ohio Valley Conference second team selection…OVC All-Tournament selection…The stalwart on SIUE’s backline, Gibson was one of only two players (Yasha Schaerer) to start all 20 matches for the Cougars…Played 90 minutes (or more) in a game 16 times during the season…Netted the “golden goal” in SIUE’s 3-2 overtime win against Houston Christian in the OVC Championship game (11/16), giving the Cougars the tournament title and trip to the NCAA tournament…Also added a goal in SIUE’s 3-0 win against Eastern Illinois (10/3)…Twice awarded as OVC Defensive Player of the Week.
2023: Second Team All-Ohio Valley Conference selection…Appeared in 19 of SIUE’s 20 games, starting 16 for the Cougars…Won back-to-back OVC Defensive Player of the Week honors (9/26, 10/3)…First career point came with an assist in SIUE’s 6-0 win at Southern Indiana.
2022: Made four starts in eight total appearances for SIUE…Played all 90 minutes in SIUE’s Missouri Valley Conference Tournament game at Evansville (11/6).
