2022 Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round ranked in the top 25 after his career best high jump mark of 7-0.25 outdoors at the Outdoor Music City Challenge (4/30/22) ... Runner-up at the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships with a leap of 6-11 (5/13/22) ... Consistently near the top of the podium with three first-place finishes and three second-place finishes.

2022 Indoor: Champion at the EIU Craft Invitational (1/15) and the Don DeNoon Invite (2/5) with leaps of 6-9 at each high jump event ... Best leap of the season was 6-9.5 at the Mark Colligan Memorial (1/22) ... Placed fourth in the high jump (6-8.75) at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships.

2021 Outdoor: Tied for 21st nationally in the high jump at the 2021 NCAA Division I West Regional, clearing 6-11 ... Runner-up at the OVC Outdoor Championships (5/14) with a career-best leap of 6-11.5. 

2021 Indoor: Recorded season-best 6-8.75 in the high jump at Indiana Tech (1/29)

2020 Indoor: Won the OVC Championships with a 7-0.25 high jump...Named OVC Field Athlete of the Week after an eighth place finish at the Meyo Invitational (6-5)...Fourth place finish at John Craft 2020 (6-7.5)

2019 Outdoor: Recorded his top jump of 6-8.75 twice, first at the Bill Cornell Classic 3/22 and at the Tom Botts Invitational 4/26... Placed seventh in the high jump at the OVC Championships 5/9... Took third in the high jump at the Tom Botts Invitational 4/19

2019 Indoor: Named OVC Freshman Athlete of the Year... Was the OVC Champion high jumper with a mark of 6-11... Placed seventh in the long jump (21-8.75) at the OVC Championships... Took first in the high jump in four out of six meets he participated in... Placed first while setting a PR in the long jump (21-9) at the SIUE/SEMO Dual 12/7

Prep: Was a four year letterwinner in track and field at Metamora Township High School... Was named captain his senior season... Placed fifth at state his junior season in the high jump... His senior season, placed fourth at state in the 4x4 relay and sixth in the high jump... Son to Kyle and Jennifer Poston... Plans to major in biology at SIUE
