2026 Outdoor: Led the distance group, highlighted by a 15:06.94 in the 5000 at the WashU Distance Carnival (3/26) … Added 8:35.17 in the 3000 and 4:05.68 in the 1500 … Also competed in the steeplechase with a top time of 9:38.07.

2026 Indoor: Emerson started his indoor season placing first in the 3000m (8:50.31) at the Mizzou Alexis Jarrett Invitational (Jan. 10)... He finished the season with a 16th place finish in teh 3000m at the OVC Championship (Feb. 24-25) with a time of 8:56.77.

2025 Outdoor: Started the season with a PR 1500 at the SLU Billiken Invite (5/29) with a time fo 4:04.64... Followed that with a PR 5000m at the Jim Freeman / Clark Wood Open (4/25-4/26) with a time of 15:20.24... finished the season in sixth place for the 3000S with a time of 9:51.41 at hte OVC Championships (5/15-5/17).

2025 Indoor: Started the season placing third in the Men's 3000 with a time of 8:43.93 at the Alexis Jarrett Invite (1/11)...Had a PR mile at the Bob Teel Invite (1/31-2/1) with a time of 4:18.86... Finished the season at the OVC Indoor Championships (2/25-26) placing sixth in the Distance Medley Relay (10:17.59), also claimed first in the 3000m at 8:21.36)... This also moved him to second in programs all-time top five performances. 

Prior to SIUE: Nine-time USATF All-American ... USATF national champion in 2001 steeplechase and 2023 indoor distance medley relay ... Competed for Arkansas Track Club.
