Destiny Bramblett is now in her fourth season on the women's basketball staff after joining the staff prior to the 2017-18 season.
At SIUE, Bramblett is directly involved with every aspect of the program including recruiting, practice and game planning, scouting, and video. She has helped coach three 1,000-points scorers with the Cougars (Gwen Adams, Lauren White and Donshel Beck).
A native of Radcliff, Kentucky, Bramblett was the Director of Basketball Operations for Marshall University prior to joining the Cougars' staff. She contributed to a 21-12 record in 2016, with that year’s team earning a spot in the WNIT.
As a player, Bramblett played at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she helped the Mocs to a 126-36 record during her career. She was a part of teams the defeated Tennessee (twice) and Stanford. With Bramblett, UTC won the Southern Conference regular season and tournament championships in 2013, 2014 and 2015. All three of those years, the Mocs appeared in the NCAA Tournament. Bramblett served as the team captain in 2015.
A standout at North Hardin High School in Radcliff, Kentucky, Bramblett was honored by having her jersey retired in Decemeber 2018. She was inducted into the North Hardin Hall of Fame in Septemeber 2019.
Bramblett graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in integrated studies with concentrations in health, human performance and communication from UTC, while also earning Dean’s List (2011-15) and Athletics Director Honor Roll (2012-15) honors. She earned her master's in kinesiology from SIUE in 2019.
