Prior to SIUE: Participated in basketball and volleyball at Peoria Notre Dame High School all four years and softball her freshman year and Track her sophomore year...She helped lead her basketball team to a 33-5 record her senior year, with an overall record of 117-17... The girl's basketball team was the first team in program history to advance to the state finals and win a state championship 2023-24... Recognized as high honor roll all four years and a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the St. Jude Club Board (event coordinator)... Named to the Peoria Journal-Star All-Area team in basketball ... Received All-Tournament team honors and all conference team honors in basketball and volleyball... Cassidy acted at the varsity team captain for both basketball and volleyball.... She also played for the Hear of Illinois.

Personal: Grandfather, George Egofske was a captain in both football (1950-52) and wrestling (1905-53) at Illinois State ... He was later inducted into the hall of fame in 1997, and later inducted into the IHSA Football Coaches Hall of Fame 1982...He was also an ISU-IIAC wrestling champion for three years... Uncles, Davey, Mark and John Egofske all played college football... Dave played at Elmhurst, Mark played at Truman State University and John played at Benedictine... Aunt Maggie Jager was a dual sport athlete for Truman State playing volleyball and basketball, she was recognized with All-Conference and All-American honors in both sports.
