SIUE

Andrew Knueven joined SIUE as the Director of Basketball Performance in November 2023.

Knueven came to SIUE from Cincinnati, where he served as Assistant Sport Performance Coach for the men’s and women’s basketball programs.

Prior to Cincinnati, Knueven served as an Assistant Sport Performance Coach at Texas. In this role he assisted in the design and implementation of performance programs for the 2022-23 Big-12 Regular Season Champion women’s basketball team as well as the 2022 National Champion volleyball and rowing programs.

Knueven is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. 

He earned his bachelor of science in Exercise Science from Cincinnati (2021) and a master’s in Kinesiology from Texas (2023).

Knueven resides in Edwardsville with his wife Natalie and their dog Walker.
