Prior to SIUE: While at Lakeshore High School, Sprague place soccer and basketball her freshman year, and ran Cross County and Track all four years... She helped guide her track team to a third place finish at state, and claimed a fourth place individual finish at state her senior year (2024)... She holds the record for the fastest 1600m as a sophomore with a time of 5:20.80 (2022) and as a junior with a time of 5:17.68 (2023) and improved to 5:14.93 her senior year (2024)... During her senior year she ran a 4x800m with a time of 9:37.49 and a 4x400m with a time of 4:03.33... Sprague was recognized as an all-state athletes, Academic All-State and MVP in track and field... She was also the captain of the cross country and track teams.... She is the daughter to Matthew and Stacey Sprague.
